MEET erica
A native Californian, Erica’s first introduction to photography was in a black and white film class at the age of fifteen. She was heavily influenced by conceptual themes, nature, pop culture and fashion – themes still prominent in her work today.
After graduating college with an educational background in graphic design and marketing, she began using her photography skills at her places of work to supplement the need for product and lifestyle imagery. After years of excelling at developing line sheet and marketing imagery and with the rise of social media, it was only a natural progression into the professional world of commercial and editorial photography.
Erica enjoys creating emotive and timeless imagery. She is inspired by feminine strength and is able to find beauty in everything.
Erica has a physical studio location in San Diego, CA. She regularly travels for assignments; also frequently working in Los Angeles and in the surrounding Southern CA region.

THE process
1. vision
Tell me your vision and how I can help. Start by filling out a contact form to outline details, inspiration, timeline and anything else that’s important to your vision.
2. planning
Here we can create a moodboard and work on fine-tuning details. We will determine location, style, create a shot list and make sure we’re set up to execute the vision exactly how we want.
3. shoot!
Here’s where all our planning comes together and we make magic. This is the most fun part!
4. finalize
After capturing our images we will go through an editing and selection process. Next, I will deliver the final images so you can start sharing!
